Code of Life PDF Print

Code of Life for
St. Willibrord School Community

All Students and Staff have the right to learn and exist in a safe and harmonious environment. We live by the following code of life:

Respect: We are respectful of oneself, of other adults, children, and property.

Responsibility: We are responsible and accountable for our own actions, work, and choices.

Honesty: We are honest.

Safety: We promote a harmonious environment where everyone feels safe and accepted.

Communication: We encourage open and conisistent communication and partnerdship between home and school regarding the behaviour, safety, academic and social development for the benefit of each child.

These values will be practiced and celebrated consistently at St. Willibrord by everyone during all aspects of school time including daycare, classtime, recess, lunch, fieldtrips, DEAR, and extra curricular activities.

To celebrate our peaceful and positive lifestyle here at St. Willibrord we will plan special activities in classes, send letters, postcards and emails home, the school personnel will call home, and we will plan special time with the principal such as breakfast or projects, and have regular school wide celebrations.
